Dr. Jagdish Trivedi is an International Humourist, Author, Poet, Actor, Philosopher, and Philanthropist who has pledged to donate 11 crore rupees, especially for the education and medical facilities of the needy masses, out of which Rs. 15 crores have already been donated in the span of 7 years.

Through his philanthropic efforts, he generously serves the sectors of the arts, performing arts, and social welfare. In less than 6 years, he has built and donated 9 school buildings to the government, 7 public libraries, and 1 child malnutrition center.

Through his 3000 shows, 72 books, 100 DVDs, and 450 videos in 28 countries across the world, he has contributed to the field of the arts, allowing millions of people to gain the benefit of rich cultural heritage, moral values, and entertainment.

He has been awarded and felicitated with 13 awards by reputed organizations, including the state government.

The Gujarat Sahitya Academy and Gujarati Sahitya Parishad, respectively, have awarded him seven books out of 72.

He has earned three doctorate degrees from three different universities. In addition to this, one scholar received a Ph.D. degree, while another scholar is pursuing his Ph.D. on the literature of Dr. Jagdish Trivedi.
The respective boards of Gujarat and Maharashtra are teaching his essays to their students.

In a peculiar manner, he has raised the awareness of citizens about the importance of vaccinations, health, and hygiene, inspired many of his fellow human beings to join the fight against Corona via the brilliance of his oratory, and galvanised the country together during the worst days of the Corona epidemic.

વિશ્વના 28 દેશોમાં 3000 કાર્યક્રમો, 72 પુસ્તકો, 100 ડીવીડી અને 450 વિડીયો દ્વારા ડો. ત્રિવેદી વૈશ્વિક સ્તરે ભારતીય અને ગુજરાતી સંસ્કૃતિના જતન અને પ્રચાર-પ્રસાર માં યોગદાન આપે છે. તેમની સાહિત્યિક કૌશલ્ય તેમના દ્વારા લખાયેલ 72 પુસ્તકોમાં પ્રતિબિંબિત થાય છે. ગુજરાત સાહિત્ય અકાદમી અને ગુજરાતી સાહિત્ય પરિષદ જેવી પ્રતિષ્ઠિત સંસ્થાઓ દ્વારા એમના કુલ ૭ પુસ્તકોને પરિતોષિક પ્રદાન કરવામાં આવ્યા છે અને ગુજરાત તથા મહારાષ્ટ્ર બોર્ડના અભ્યાસક્રમોમાં તેમના નિબંધો ભણાવવામાં આવી રહ્યા છે.

સાહિત્ય ઉપરાંત, ડૉ. ત્રિવેદીની અસર તેમની કલામાં પણ અનુભવાય છે, જ્યાં તેઓ સાંસ્કૃતિક અંતરને દૂર કરે છે અને રમૂજ દ્વારા સાર્વત્રિક મૂલ્યો વ્યક્ત કરે છે. અમેરીકા, કેનેડા, યુકે જેવા કુલ ૨૮ દેશોની ૭૬ યાત્રાઓ કરી છે. તેમણે “ બેટી બચાઓ” જેવી ઝુંબેશને સક્રિયપણે સમર્થન આપ્યું છે, સ્વાઈન ફ્લૂ અને કોવિડ-19 જેવા મુદ્દાઓ વિશે જાગૃતિ કેળવી છે અને હજારો લોકોને તેમના વક્તૃત્વ અને વીડિયો દ્વારા પ્રેરિત કર્યા છે. તેમનું કાર્ય માત્ર મનોરંજન જ નહીં પરંતુ સમાજસેવા સાથે શિક્ષા અને પ્રેરણા પ્રદાન કરવાનું પણ છે.

ડો. ત્રિવેદીનું યોગદાન કલા અને સાહિત્યથી આગળ છે; તેમણે સામાજિક કલ્યાણ અને શિક્ષણમાં નોંધપાત્ર યોગદાન આપ્યું છે. તેમણે ત્રણ અલગ-અલગ યુનિવર્સિટીમાંથી ત્રણ વખત પીએચ.ડી.ની ઉપાધિ પ્રાપ્ત કરેલ છે અને બે વિદ્યાર્થીએ જગદીશ ત્રિવેદીના સાહિત્ય ઉપર પીએચ.ડી. કરેલ છે. તેમનું કળા, સાહિત્ય અને હાસ્ય ક્ષેત્રનું ખેડાણ ગામડાંના ખેડૂતોથી લઈને વિવિધ દેશોમાં બિઝનેસ ટાયકૂન્સ સુધીની વ્યક્તિઓની વિશાળ શ્રેણીને સ્પર્શે છે અને તેની સાંસ્કૃતિક અસર ઊંડી છે. ગુજરાત ગરિમા એવોર્ડ, પ્રાઇડ ઓફ ઇન્ડિયા એવોર્ડ અને સંસ્કાર ભૂષણ એવોર્ડ, ગૌરવ પુરસ્કાર સહિતના તેમના પુરસ્કારો અને સન્માનો આ પ્રયાસોમાં તેમના સમર્પણ અને શ્રેષ્ઠતાને સિદ્ધ કરે છે.

તેમના સર્જનાત્મક કાર્યો ઉપરાંત, ડૉ. ત્રિવેદી તેમની ઉદારતા માટે જાણીતા છે. ૧૨/૧૦/૨૦૧૭ ના રોજ તેમના પચાસમા જન્મદિવસ પર, તેમણે વહીવટી ખર્ચ પણ લીધા વિના, આજીવન પોતાની સંપૂર્ણ આવક આરોગ્યઅને શિક્ષણમાં દાન કરવાની જાહેરાત કરી ત્યારે લોકો મોઢામાં આંગળા નાખી ગયા અને એ ભિષ્મપ્રતિજ્ઞા બરાબર પાળી અને તેમના દાનની રકમ માત્ર ૭ વર્ષમાં ૮.૫૦ કરોડ રૂપિયાને વટાવી ગઈ છે, અને તેમણે જરૂરિયાતમંદોને ઓછામાં ઓછા ૧૧ કરોડ રૂપિયાનું દાન આપવાનો શિવસંકલ્પ કરેલ છે જે ટૂંક સમયમાં પૂર્ણ થશે એવી હવે સૌને શ્રદ્ધા છે. કોરોનાના પડકારજનક સમયમાં તેમણે આર્મી વેલ્ફેર ફંડ અને ઓક્સિજન ટેન્કની જોગવાઈ જેવા કારણોમાં ઘણું યોગદાન આપ્યું છે એ સમાજની સુધારણા માટે તેમનું સમર્પણ દર્શાવે છે.
2022 અને 2023 માં, યુએસએ – કેનેડાના લાંબા પ્રવાસ દરમિયાન, તેણે નોંધપાત્ર આવક કરી છે, જે તરત જ દાનમાં આપી દીધી છે. સેવાનું સરવૈયું નામક પુસ્તિકા દ્વારા તેઓ દર વર્ષે કમાયેલ રાશિ અને દાનમાં આપેલ રાશિનો હિસાબ પ્રકાશિત કરી પોતાની નૈતિક જવાબદારીનું સોશિયલ ઓડિટ કરે છે.

Through his performances and writings, he played a significant role at the worldwide level in preserving and cultivating Indianness and Gujarati culture among the Indian diaspora living around the world. As an international performer, he has given new-generation audiences in 28 countries the chance to experience the flavor of cultural literature, ethos, and values while also giving non-resident Indians a sense of connection to their homeland.

In addition to performing in his native India, he also tours internationally, with humour and folk-art shows in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Dubai, China, the United Arab Emirates, Thailand, Singapore, Belgium, Portugal, Oman, Kenya, Tanzania, etc.

Under the government’s “Beti Vadhavo” campaign, more than 300 programs were organized in 2008 and 2009 to raise awareness about the importance of Girl Child Survival and Education.

In 2010, they ran 60 programs to get the word out about the swine flu. Through his mastery of the art of oratory, he has inspired thousands of human beings to join the fight against the Corona pandemic (2019–2020) by spreading more than 150 videos encouraging vaccinations, health, and hygiene.

Having spent the last 30 years entertaining viewers through his TV Performances on stations like Doordarshan, TV9, Star One, GTPL, etc.
In the domains of folklore and humour, millions of people throughout the world have benefited from his more than 100 albums’ CDs, VCDs, and DVDs.

Dr. Jagdish Trivedi has written 72 books, out of which 6 have been awarded by the Gujarat Sahitya Akademy and 1 by the Gujarati Sahitya Parishad.

“Madhushala” is his Gujarati padhyanuvad of the renowned Hindi poetry “Madhushala” by Dr. Harivanshrai Bachchan.

His “Shikshapatri” is a Gujarati padhyanuvad containing Lord Swaminarayan’s teaching on how to conduct your life (originally written in Sanskrit as “Shikshaparti”).

Manasdarshan-1 has been translated into Malayalam.

Wrote scripts, screenplays, and dialogues for famous Gujarati films such as “Kanku Purayu Ambematana Chowkma”, “Hasyano Varghodo,” and a serial named “Kakani Kamal” on Doordarshan.

For the past five years, two essays have been mandatory reading in state textbooks: one titled “Fateli Note” for 7th graders in Gujarat State, and another titled “Chorne Malum Thay Ke” for 9th graders in Maharashtra State.

Since 2001, he has written columns for several different newspapers and publications in Gujarat, India, and abroad, including the state-wide daily Gujarat Samachar, the national daily Divyabhaskar, the national weekly Fulchhab, the American weekly Gujarat Times, and the Gujarati magazine Abhiyan. In addition, the Government of Gujarat publishes a Diwali-themed edition of “Gujarat” that has his hilarious articles.
